This four-session comprehensive course will provide participants with the tools needed to be effective environmental leaders in their communities. The goals include to

  • Strengthen the leadership capacity of urban environmental commissioners as well as civic leaders in cities that do not have environmental commissions;
  • Offer environmentalists opportunities for personal growth, networking, and arm them with timely and relevant information;
  • Provide four major sessions on air, land, water, and sustainability;
  • Give each participant resource materials, ANJEC publications and technical assistance from ANJEC staff

Did you miss ANJEC's Environmental Commissioner's Training Course in March? This webinar series offers another opportunity to learn the basics about environmental commissions, their powers, duties and resources.

The webinar's virtual seminar series makes it easy to get key environmental commission operation information, including how to be an effective environmental commissioner, protecting environmental resources at the municipal level.

Attend this course wherever you choose - at the office, in the town hall, or in the comfort of your own home! All you need is an Internet connection and a separate phone line. Listen to ANJEC experts talk while you view the Power Point slides on your computer screen. Participants can review a recorded version of the webinar on our website following each session.

Members: $10 per session/$25 for the series
Non-members: $15 per session/$40 for series
