The Watershed Center for Environmental Advocacy, Science, and Education is a new certified LEED Platinum facility which compliments the outdoor property. The Center provides numerous educational programs every year. The property includes the Katie Gorrie Butterfly House, Honey Brook Organic Farm, and over 10 miles of hiking trails.
We encourage you to explore the area before the event begins!

Skyline Sail Along the Palisades



~5 hours

Sail between Liberty State Park and the Alpine Boat Basin with Vanessa Smiley, of the Morristown National Historical Park (the nation's first “National Historical Park”), who are celebrating 100 years of service and Dr. Angela Cristini, Director of Environmental Education at the NJ. Total time including bus transportation.

Learn about the geology of the Palisades from George Harlow, of the American Museum of Natural History, followed by author Todd W. Braisted as we examine some of the exciting events of the Hudson’s Revolutionary past!  3 hours.
