What Does ANJEC Do?
ANJEC’s programs aim to help citizens protect the environment
- Information, guidance, and referrals from our Resource Center and knowledgeable staff;
- A wide variety of courses, workshops and Webinars throughout the year;
- ANJEC Sustainable Land Use Planning Grants for municipalities and counties with Environmental Commissions;
- Taking positions on environmental issues and representing environmental commissions at the regional and state level;
- The annual Environmental Congress;
- The quarterly 36-page ANJEC Report and the Green City Gazette and Highlands Herald email newsletters;
- Handbooks, resource papers and manuals.
