Celebrate Your Commission
To mark ANJEC’s 40th anniversary in 2009, 26 environmental commissions sent descriptions
of their significant proud accomplishments. New and old commissions from
throughout NJ from Cape May to Bergen County show the breadth and depth
of the work of commissions. Their activities cover environmental resource
inventories, open space, recycling, community education and other activities.
ANJEC compiled these stories into a booklet that was distributed at ANJEC’s
Anniversary celebration on Sunday, May 3 2009, and now available on
line ( 61KB). We
all enjoyed those wonderful stories!
